Having grown up alongside digital photography, my direct contact with film photography in the past has been very limited. However, ever since I’ve started photography, I’ve always been interested in trying it out. It is very focusing for someone who is used to memory cards that store thousands of images to have to think so carefully about what photographs I want and which will work. There’s so little room for trial and error when working with 24 or 36 shot rolls of film. Not only that, but you have no idea what you’ve taken until you get the roll back from the developers.
